The Gable Houses provide a contemporary response to the classic New Zealand gable form. Designed to feel at home in their coastal setting, they use natural materials to weather gracefully with the environment.

A Macrocarpa rainscreen wraps the exterior cladding, aging naturally with the environment. To continue the theme of using only locally sourced timber, the interiors are lined in Kahikatea. Built with efficiency in mind, the walls, floors, and roof were pre-fabricated using Potius panels, ensuring precision and strength while staying true to a distinctly New Zealand material palette.
