Pavilion House

The Pavilion house was designed in partnership with Darby Partners on a coastal site north of Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau)

The roof form floats above the house with a black steel PFC wrapping around the perimeter.

The larch timber cladding, macrocarpa decking and oak flooring is all NZ grown and sustainably sourced.

The house has a concrete block spine to the rear which is expressed on the interior and exterior.

The house was fully prefabricated with factory made roof, floor and wall panels. The panels arrive on site pre-lined and insulated. These panels are engineered to provide very fast construction times and reduced labour on site.
