STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - Partnership Potential

This position provides an excellent opportunity for somebody to work in a great design team, while continuing to gain a broad range of experience. The successful applicant will be involved in the design of a wide range of commercial and domestic projects for divisions within the DesignBASE Group as well as building the structural design division of the group.

This position is available in our Invercargill or Central Otago offices, however we will consider applicants based in Dunedin, Queenstown or Te Anau.

Key Accountabilities:

• Structural analysis and design
• Construction monitoring
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant design codes and technical information
• Undertake technical reviews as appropriate
• Work as part of a team and assist other team members as required
• Comply with company standards and procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

• BE (Struct) or equivalent
• CPEng registration
• Proven track record of relevant experience
• Experience in design to New Zealand codes
